Year To Date
(Y-T-D)
The name largely says it all. Any time you want to reference what's gone on since January 1st (or other arbitrary date such as the start of a fiscal year) then YTD does it for you. If the starting date is not January 1st then it is a good idea to say when it is as January 1st is the general default unless otherwise specified.
