Scalable Vector Graphics
(S-V-G)
An XML vector graphics language that is building toward being a standard for graphics that can be resized without the pixelation that occurs with bitmapped images when you change their size. Presently, SVG files can only be viewed using a browser add-in such as Macromedia's Flash.
