Leading
Pronounced "ledding" (like the metal with symbol Pb - lead)
Leading is a printer's term which describes the space between lines of type. Also known as line spacing.
The term has its origins in the typesetting trade where small lines of lead were inserted between lines of letters to give the proper line spacing for the document.
