Input
This is a general term the describes any method of getting data into a computer for the purpose of processing that data.
An input device can include, but is not limited to: a keyboard, a mouse, a trackball, a graphics tablet, a modem, a disk drive, a CD drive, a voice recognition system, a microphone, any of the import ports (e.g., serial, parallel, USB, Firewire), and more.
