International Data Encryption Algorithm

(idea)

An encryption algorithm based on well-known mathematical operations. IDEA depends on confusion and diffusion. IDEA is a block cypher operating on 64-bit blocks and using a 128-bit key. The algorithm was developed by Xuejia Lai and James Massey in 1992.
