Connector
The termination on the end of a cable or in the body of a computer or peripheral where electrical connections are made. There are two general connector types:
- Male Connector
Any connector either on the end of a cable or on the body of a computer or peripheral where the pins protrude outward from the connector. - Female Connector
Any connector either on the end of a cable or on the body of a computer or peripheral where there are holes for pins to insert into.
